To be eligible for membership of the UAE PGA, one must be a current member of an existing association and be capable of providing substantiation of that membership on an annual basis, at the time of membership subscriptions falling due for the UAE PGA.

• Fully qualified Golf Professional who has completed a PGA training programme acceptable to the British PGA
• Employed at a Golf Club on a full time basis, which is affiliated to the UAE Golf Association, or working for a company/organisation, which is related to the Golf industry (as agreed by the UAE PGA committee).
• Either holding a UAE passport or Residence visa (proof of application for residence visa may be acceptable).

• Golf Professional, being a person who receives remuneration as a result of playing golf or teaching golf (as defined within the R & A/USGA rules of amateur status), but does not have qualifications from an Association recognised by the British PGA.
• Employed at a Golf Club on a full time basis, which is affiliated to the UAE Golf Association, or working for a company/organisation, which is closely related to the Golf industry (as agreed by the UAE PGA committee).
• Either holding a UAE passport or Residence visa (proof of application for residence visa may be acceptable)

• A Golf Professional who is attached at a golf club in the UAE, which is affiliated to the UAE Golf Association.
• Who is affiliated to a PGA recognised Tour.
• Who is not employed to teach golf and whose primary source of remuneration is from appearance money, sponsorship and prize money.
• Either holding a UAE passport or Residence visa (proof of application for residence visa may be acceptable).

• A PGA Registered Trainee who is working in the United Arab Emirates on a full time basis at a golf club, which is affiliated to the UAE Golf Association or working for a company/organisation which is closely related to the Golf industry (as agreed by the UAE PGA committee).

• A Golf Professional who is neither working nor resident in the UAE and is visiting the country on a temporary basis either for business or pleasure.
