UAE PGA professionals had their chance to pit their talents against 19 of the top European Tour Professionals during the second Al Naboodah Group Pro-Am held at Four Seasons Golf Club.

Al Naboodah, a patron of the UAE Professional Golfers’ Association, had secured the presence of some of the most exciting talents on the European PGA Tour including Ian Poulter, Graeme McDowell, Anders Hansen, Robert Karlsson and Jyoti Randhawa to join the fun at the Dubai Festival City venue

Personally invited guests of Abdullah Saeed Al Naboodah, Chairman Al Naboodah Investments LLC, were firstly treated to the Hugo Boss European Tour Player Exhibition. Bradley Dredge, Steve Webster, Jyoti Randhawa and Oliver Wilson entertained the gallery with demonstrations of shot making of all kinds from high lob shots to powerful drives.

The professionals really excelled on the par 72 Al Badia golf course with 11 players shooting under par.

It is one of our few corporate events where we manage to lure senior executives from their heavy workloads and other commitments to build relationships with potential clients and to reinforce relationships with existing clients.”

After the round, dinner and prize giving ceremony were held in the Shaheen suite at Four Seasons Golf Club, when guests were entertained by video footage of the day’s action on the course.

The winning team on 132 (12 under) was led by Ian Poulter with Abdullah Saeed Al Naboodah, Dino Varkey and Tejan Fadlu-Deen taking home the grand prize and the elegant trophy.

Second place, on countback, were Gregory Havret (pro), Firdhose Coovadia, Rahul Yadav and William Dewsall.

The professional scores were topped with two equally great rounds of 66 by Anders Hansen and Ricardo Gonzalez. Both players received personally selected Hublot watches.
